Five years have passed since the Volturi came to Forks. The Cullens are back again, having lived the last three years in Alaska. Renesmee is going through high school and she is dating Jacob Black, to her parents' slight approval. Everyone is settled down for the time being and going on their daily lives. The werewolves have settled down as well. Sam Uley still leads the pack, only this time Jacob helps. Romance is in the air in this small town. Sue Clearwater and Charlie Swan had told each other their feelings and they are now in a relationship. Sam and Emily had set a wedding date and is preparing everything beforehand. For a few weeks, it seems that life in Forks is back to normal.

"We interrupt this T.V program for breaking news.

A body was found in the woods today by Forks police. It appears to be drained of blood. What could possibly have happened to the body?"

"We think it was an animal with an insane thirst for blood. We have alerted the entire area of Forks to be on the lookout for a huge animal."

No one knows who had attacked the body, but the Cullens and the werewolves do. A group of vampires moved into the area a week before the attack. Now everything must be put on hold and the vampires taken care of. The other covens have been alerted and are on their way to Forks to help the Cullens. Will they succeed?
